Glen View is a 3 bedroom apartment, excellently situated for exploring the lovey Award-Winning Gower Peninsula. Our apartment is on the first floor of an early 20th Century house. Named ‘Glen View’ it has great views from the rear. Sleeping up to 6 people, it is ideal for the larger family wanting a Gower-Getaway or friends meeting up for a break. It has off road parking for 2/3 cars at the front of the house and a 13amp Electric Vehicle Charging Point.
The accommodation has three bedrooms. The first bedroom, having a Freeview Television, has a double bed plus a single bed. The second bedroom has a double bed and there is single bed in the small third. All of the bedrooms are well equipped with plenty of storage space for clothes, so there will be no need to live out of your suitcases! The living/dining room is compact and has a Freeview Television. The newly fitted kitchen next door is fully equipped with an electric hob and oven, a microwave, a fridge with freezer compartment, a dishwasher and a washer/dryer. When you’ve come home from a long day of exploring or work you can take your pick of shower or bath to unwind and relax.
Upper Killay is a peaceful area, located just seconds from the beautiful Award-Winning Gower Peninsula. We are only 15 minutes from some fantastic golden sandy beaches, such as Caswell and Langland, with Oxwich, Three Cliffs, Port Eynon and Rhossilli Bays, to name a few, within 40 minute drive. The famous fishing village of Mumbles is about a 20 minute drive away, with many cafes, restaurants and boutique shops, along with Oystermouth Castle and Swansea Bay to explore. In Killay village, we are a variety of shops, including the Co-op, independent bakeries (please try the hot welsh cakes from Davies’ Bakery!). There are also pubs, restaurants (Miller & Carter and Killay Spice) and a cafe.
The flat is close to all local amenities, being near the junction of the North and South Gower Roads is very easy for travel. The bus stop is close to the house for travel to Swansea city or the Gower. There is a nearby cycle track leading to Swansea, Mumbles, Llanelli, Pembrey Country Park and beyond.
